It all got started with Kidzfest as a personal mission for my husband Steve and me. It was created to honor our son Stephen Michael Hurly who passed away from heart disease and complications of premature birth at the age of five weeks in 2003. Stephen was a beautiful baby and so full of life and love. In his short time here he taught us the meaning of hope and love. Today we raise funds in efforts to fight against heart disease in children. Through our baby’s short life we were filled with hope for his future and his life. Hope is what got us through the darkest days of our lives. We hope our donation to this important research can help save children's lives in the future and save families going through the pain we endure daily. Our Stephen did not have a future as we know it but through our efforts he lives on and his hope and love continues – please join in this wonderful cause.
